Reflexology Lymph Drainage (RLD), is an award winning, evidence based specialist reflexology technique that focuses on stimulating the lymphatic reflexes on the feet. The technique was researched and developed in the UK by Sally Kay during her work at a hospice offering cancer care and support, during which time she observed the effects that manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), had on lymphoedema, the swelling of limbs often associated with cancer surgery.

Based on the principles of manual lymphatic drainage, RLD focuses on the lymphatic reflexes in the feet with the aim of causing a reduction in the symptoms of lymphoedema. And in the same way that MLD is used to treat other conditions, RLD may also help with the symptoms associated with lipodema, auto-immune disorders, arthritis, sinus problems, allergies, skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis, migraines and headaches, premenstrual syndrome, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and ME.​
