Treatment Visit Guidelines

COVID-19 is a constantly changing landscape and I will be following guidelines issued by the Government, NHS and my professional associations (Association of Reflexologists and the Federation of Holistic Therapists) regarding safe and hygienic practice and the use of any personal protective equipment. Currently it is anticipated that I will be able to recommence treatments from Monday 12th April 2021, however this will be subject to Government advice.

Pre-Appointment

To minimise face to face contact, any consultation or health and wellbeing forms will be sent via email or post to you for completion, following which I will contact you by telephone the day before your treatment to go through the consultation. 

Health Screening and Covid-19 Risk Assessment

The day before your appointment, usually when I call you to go through your consultation, I will also go through a Covid-19 pre-treatment checklist. This is to assess any risk factors due to Covid-19 that may affect the treatment going ahead. This includes a risk assessment of myself and my own recent activities and behaviour. If anything changes or new information is revealed between conducting the checklist and arriving for your appointment, you must inform me as I may not be able to treat you. The same applies to myself

Your Appointment

When you arrive for your appointment please park in front of the house to the right of the drive. I will come and collect you from you car. Please don't come directly to the cabin.

On arrival I will ask you to use hand sanitiser and I will do the same.

Face Coverings

Depending on your treatment I am required to wear a face mask and/or visor. It is a requirement that you also wear a facemask unless you fall into one of the exemption categories

Maintaining Social Distancing

Whilst treatments involve an element of close contact, I will be observing social distancing wherever possible which may include keeping to an appropriate distance during any consultation and when arriving for and leaving an appointment.

Cleaning

All surfaces in the treatment room will be cleaned before and after each client in accordance with government guidance. Any linens used will be changed for each client and washed in the normal way in accordance with government guidelines. The room will be ventilated between clients.

Payment

It is preferred that payment is by bank transfer either in advance of the treatment of within 2 days following.

Cancellations due to Covid-19

I will reschedule your appointment if either myself or you have had any Covid-19 symptoms, have been in close contact with anyone who has symptoms or if you have had any foreign travel in the last 14 days. There will be no cancellation fee charged in this case.
